The Burlington Historical Preservation Advisory Commission (BHPAC) invites the community to the opening of a local history display: Burlington Remembers When: 1930s to 1960s, on Saturday, March 7 from 10:30am-Noon, at the Burlington Visitors’ Information Center/Chamber of Commerce, 520 E. Fairhaven Avenue. Long-time Burlington resident Larry Gilbert and downtown Burlington business owner, Duane Stowe will discuss highlights of Burlington in the news and day-to-day life during those three-decades. Special guest emcee is Eleanor Roosevelt, portrayed by BPHAC member, Margie Wilson. An opportunity for the audience to share their own stories of Burlington will be offered during the open mic session. The history display may be viewed at the Burlington Visitors’ Information Center during regular business hours until early September 2020. The exhibit open house is free, everyone is welcome, plus enjoy complimentary refreshments
