SDVSAS Interview: Diverse Community Representative Panel
In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in April, SDVSAS invites you to be part of the solution by learning more about sexual violence, sharing what you learn with others, and engaging in opportunities to further cultivate social change. Join us as Diverse Community Panelists, Randi Breuer and Mike Oconnel, explore how sexual violence perpetrates marginalized populations and how the community can best support victims and survivors experiencing unique barriers. Help us support survivors by learning more about victim support and programs that serve survivors in Skagit County! We hope to see you there. About the Presenters: Randi Breuer, owner of Elevated Hearts LLC, uses they & them pronouns. They reside in Oak Harbor with their two children and are a proud queer parent in the area. Randi has been bringing diversity opportunities to Skagit and beyond with PFLAG Skagit for almost a decade. They are passionate about this work and excited to bring to an elevated level of understanding on this topic. Mike Oconnel is a tribal advocate at Sauk Suiattle tribe that serves victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
