Duties for the general manager, include:

Managing and adhering to budgets

Enforcement of Corporate Policies (as well as creation of new policies)

Managing day-to-day operations (Scheduling, Ordering, Baking, etc.)

Evaluating, Encouraging and Motivating Staff
-
Delighting Customers
-
Increasing Efficiency and Overall Profitability
-
Vendor Relations
-
Staff Hiring and Training
-
Identifying new opportunities and relationships (catering, events, etc.)
-
Evaluating performance and productivity
-
Analyzing accounting and financial data
-
Researching, identifying, and implementing growth opportunities
-
Generating reports and giving presentations
-
Resolving conflicts or complaints from customers and employees
Requirements:
-
3-5 years of experience managing others required (Experience Managing a Bakery or Restaurant Preferred)

21 years or older
-
Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
-
Highly organized
-
Strong work ethic
-
Meticulous attention to detail

Computer literate
-
Time and project management skills
-
Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop practical solutions and strategies
