• Bootcamp for entrepreneurs, small businesses focuses on funding and finances

    The Island County Economic Development Council (Island County EDC) is launching a new program for small businesses located in Island and Skagit counties. The program has two components: free educational programs and grant funds.
     
    The first educational program, RAINcap Bootcamp, is now accepting applications through Feb. 5 at 11:59 p.m. This is a free four-session "Bootcamp" program designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs fund their businesses and better manage their finances. The program runs Feb. 8 - 16 with meetings held online through Zoom on Wednesdays and Thursdays 6-8 p.m. (Watch parties will be available.) Those who complete the course will also be eligible to apply for $2.5K - $25K business development grants.

    • Making Strategic Financial Decisions for Growth
    • Pitch Your Business Story
