    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Burlington Public Library to begin Summer Hours on July 11

BURLINGTON, WA – Due to a temporary staff shortage, the Burlington Public Library is instituting new summer hours to begin on July 11 and last through September 1. Changes include a new closing time of 6:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The Summer Hours are:
    • Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 10:00am-5:00pm
    • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 10:00am-6:00pm

Any groups that made an evening reservation for the Burlington Rotary Community Meeting Room before July 1 will have their reservation honored. Previously scheduled evening library programs will be held in the Community Meeting Room while the main area of the building remains closed.

During this time we are still striving to serve you. Our public Wi-Fi will be available 24/7 and will not be password protected. You can pull up in front of, or on the side of the building and remain in your car to access the Wi-Fi. Any time the library building is closed, our online resources are still available—including eBooks, eAudiobooks, and online databases.
