Regular activities have returned and the 2022 Burlington-Edison Youth Soccer (B-EYS) season is underway! Youth sports can be expensive and not all families can afford the cost. Our community has partnered with us in a great way to help families in need.
One of our goals as a Parks and Recreation Department is to help eliminate barriers to families so that kids can play and participate in our programs. Two distinct ways folks can pitch in are through the Nick Nickelson Youth Soccer Scholarship, and through B-EYS Team Sponsorship. By gathering sponsorships throughout our community, we're eliminating financial barriers for families by helping subsidize the cost of new equipment, uniforms, referee fees and player insurances to help keep fees down for ALL of our players.
Each year, local service clubs and businesses are invited to sponsor one or more B-EYS Team. In 2021, we had 38 teams and in 2022 we were blown away with a large increase in teams to 50! With this enthusiasm to play soccer, we soon realized there became a greater need to get all of our teams covered through team sponsorship.
We are proud to announce the following service clubs and businesses that stepped up and pitched in for 2022, in order to support youth soccer in Burlington. Please thank them by way of supporting their business or participating in their fundraisers:

By becoming a team sponsor, these business and clubs aren’t only supporting one team, but the entire soccer program of 447 kids and their families by keeping player fees down which helps eliminate barriers to play!
With much gratitude,
