    Family Birth Center Tours 
    Free tours at Skagit Valley Hospital Family Birth Center are offered twice a month by calling 360-814-2424 to schedule a tour. 
       Free tours are offered at Cascade Valley Hospital by appointment. Please call 360-618-7754.

    New Mom’s Group 
    This group is led by a Family Birth Center RN/ Lactation Consultant. Bring your baby, join us for beverages and talk about your experiences as a new mom. 
    Meet other moms, weigh your baby, and get answers to your questions about infant feeding, development and much more. Pregnant women, moms with babies and any woman 
    with infant feeding questions are welcome to attend. Held on Thursdays from 11 a.m. – noon in the Skagit Valley Hospital Family Birth Center Waiting Room, 360-428-2229.

    Stop the Bleed®: What Everyone Should Know to Stop Bleeding After an Injury 
    During this free, hands-on training you will learn various ways to control life-threatening bleeding after an individual has sustained an injury from an everyday emergency, 
    man-made or from a natural disaster. You will be given a list of items to create your own Stop the Bleed® emergency kit. The American College of Surgeons Committee on 
    Trauma is leading the effort to save lives by teaching the civilian population to provide vital initial response to stop uncontrollable bleeding in emergency situations. 
    Tyler Dalton, Trauma Coordinator at Skagit Valley Hospital will be teaching this one-hour training. Please note this is not a first aid class. No charge, but pre-registration is required by calling 360-814-2424.
