The Skagit Ag Summit takes place on Friday, Feb. 10, at the WSU Northwest Research & Extension Center in Mount Vernon. EDASC is a sponsor of the event.
The day's programming includes:
- Panel discussion about the continued viability of Skagit agriculture.
- Highlights of positive work happening in Skagit County and Washington state.
- A rundown of economic development programs related to Skagit agriculture.
- Presentation on ag innovations occurring in Skagit County.
- Discussion on water, water quality, availability and alternatives
Closing remarks will be given by U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen. A social hour at North Sound Brewery follows the day's programming. There is no cost and no registration requirement for the summit – see you there!
