• SICBA presents its 3rd Annual Holiday Fundraiser to support Helping Hands Food Bank & North Whidbey Help House

    For the 3rd year SICBA is proud to be doing a Holiday Fundraising Event for our local food banks, Helping Hands Food Bank, and North Whidbey Help House – It’s the Season for Giving!
     
    This fundraising event will take place from now through December 16th.  During this time of year, our local food banks struggle to supply families in the Skagit and Island Counties with enough food for the holidays.  The effects of COVID have caused more families to rely on food banks for their next meal than ever before. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go to Helping Hands in Skagit County and North Whidbey Help House in Island County.
     
    We are making only monetary donations (CHECKS ONLY), as they are being very selective on physical food donations due to the volume they are feeding at this time. It is also the safest and most effective way to fundraise. If you can donate, simply write a check, and make it out to either Helping Hands or North Whidbey Help House (or write two checks if you want to donate to both) and mail your check(s) to the SICBA office located at 15571-A Peterson Road, Burlington WA 98233.
     
    There is no minimum dollar amount to donate, any amount is greatly appreciated! You will also be able to write off your donation on your taxes! Every $10 donated feeds one family. Our goal is to raise $5,000 and help feed 50,000 Skagit and Island County families this Christmas.
