• Skagit Adult Day Program Looking for 2019 Music and Memories Sponsors

    December 12, 2018
    Hello friends and neighbors,

I am reaching out to you as our annual fundraiser is fast approaching.  I will attach the flier, so you can see the details of the event, but more importantly, Skagit Adult Day Program is a nonprofit that has been in Skagit County for 27 years!  We currently have 2 locations, one in Burlington and one in Anacortes.  2019 will bring a 3rd location in Bellingham to assist seniors with dementia and their families.  The only adult day program in Whatcom County was closed this past August and we have been working to assist the seniors there as soon as possible.

For those of you in Skagit County, you likely have heard of Nancy Gentry and know that she has been an amazing advocate for seniors for many, many years.  I was recently brought on to allow Nancy to retire and enjoy your grandchildren!  We truly want to honor Nancy and her work by continuing to support seniors with dementia and their families.  We provide a social model day program at both locations as well as educational lunch/learns, support groups and the Powerful Tools class for home caregivers.

We only want to continue to grow and serve.  We cannot do this without you!!!

We are in need of donations at all levels.  We could gladly accept gift cards from $25-100 for one of the events at the auction.  We also need larger auction items, and as always, money!  We are in a transition and growth time here at Skagit Adult Day Program and need your help in this time!

If you would like to send a gift card/certificate or an auction item, please either mail to the address of Bradford House, 116 N. Skagit St., Burlington, WA 98233 or call me (425) 345-5224 as I am definitely happy to arrange for your item to be picked up as well.

If you would like to attend our auction, tickets are available online at our website: www.skagitadultdayprogram.org.  We also have sponsorship level information that includes tickets, etc.

Thank you for joining us in providing the much needed service to our seniors.

    Warm regards,
