• Skagit Drive-Through Testing Site to be close Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13 due to inclement weather

    February 13, 2021

Today, Skagit Unified Command made the difficult decision to close the Drive-Through Testing site tomorrow (Friday, February 12) and Saturday (February 13) due to inclement weather. Keeping staff and volunteers safe and healthy is a priority for Unified Command, and unfortunately cold and windy weather has created unsafe conditions.

The test site is expected to reopen on Tuesday, February 16 with normal operating hours. In January, the test site moved to operating Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. -4:00 p.m. If you need testing urgently, you find another testing provider here.

Skagit County Public Health has expanded their hotel voucher program to serve anyone experiencing homelessness during the cold weather this weekend. This program is administered by Friendship House in Mount Vernon. If you are experiencing homelessness, and are in need of shelter contact Friendship House at 360-336-6138 or visit 1002 S. 3rd Street, Mount Vernon, 98273.

If you have questions or need additional about testing, contact Public Health at 360-416-1500 or visit www.skagitcounty.net/coronavirus
