• Skagit Transit New Route Serving Burlington and Sedro Woolley beginning August 29

    August 24, 2022
Skagit Transit is launching a new route to expand service to support the growing Burlington and Sedro Woolley areas. Route 301 is a new route that is scheduled to begin on August 29, 2022. Service will run seven days a week, approximately 15 times in each direction on weekdays providing access to jobs and community services.
Route 301 will service along the Highway 20 corridor on an hourly loop. Routes 301 and 300 will meet for easy transfers at the Sedro Woolley park and ride.
Route 301 operates between the Burlington Chuckanut Park and Ride and the Sedro Woolley park and ride and will reduce the travel time between Sedro Woolley and Burlington.
Route 300 is being modified to exclusively serve the Sedro Woolley area starting August 29th. New routing and bus stops have been added including Sedro-Woolley’s City Hall and the Central Skagit Library.
Skagit Transit recently introduced a host of ways riders can get information about routes and find out when the next bus is coming, including:
    • Real-time bus arrival times kiosk at the Chuckanut park and ride
    • Use the UMO Mobility app, a transit agency app, to locate your bus, plan your trip or to pay your bus fare and view the 301 route details on August 29, 2022
    • Use the Skagit Transit website info strweb.skagittransit.org for real-time bus details and to track your bus on the live map
