• Tell the Story Only You Can Tell - July 24th

Award-winning storyteller and children's book author Rebecca P. Murray hosts a workshop series designed to lead you in learning the art and skill of storytelling. Each workshop is geared to help you grow and practice skills of crafting, refining, and sharing your story aloud. The lovely Copia on the Boulevard was selected as a venue of choice specifically because it offers the perfect intimate ambiance for creative thought and connectedness to take place.

This workshop is designed for you if you have a story:

• That's still in your head.
• You've written it down in rough form.
• You've edited it into a finished (maybe even published) work of art!

But you haven't yet shared your story aloud with the world.

Each in-person workshop session is designed to help you build the skills and confidence to tell the story the world has been waiting to hear.

Sessions can be taken as stand-alone or in sequence to build your confidence and storytelling skills and abilities.

JUNE 26th: THE FIVE PILLARS OF STORYTELLING. All great stories start with great structure. Identify the five foundational elements your story must have to draw in and keep your audience engaged.

JULY 24th: DEVELOP YOUR CHARACTERS AND DIALOGUE. Learn how to infuse meaningful dialogue into your story to bring your characters and your message to life. Bonus: You'll uncover added humor too!

AUGUST 28th: HOW TO DEVELOP A STORYTELLER'S VOICE. Develop a keen understanding of how breathing, tempo, pitch, and purposeful pauses can showcase your voice and move your story forward.

Each session includes a blend of instruction, application, reflection, and discussion and focuses on a different storytelling skill or technique.

BONUS: When you sign up and pay for all three sessions, you will receive a beautifully bound journal for note-taking, thought tracking, and worksheet organizing.
