The Skagit Valley Genealogical Society’s (SVGS) monthly educational program is: “An Introduction to Jewish Genealogy” presented by well-known Puget Sound area genealogist and educator, Mary Kathryn Kozy. In this class you will learn about the historical influences on Jewish family research, how to overcome the challenges of where to locate Jewish records, how these records are unique, and more. SVGS’ meets Sat., February 9, from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Burlington Public Library, 820 E. Washington Ave. The programs are free to the public but membership is encouraged. These adult education programs are part of a community partnership between SVGS and the Burlington Public Library.
