"Are you new to the area or just want to grow your own food? In this interactive and informative class, we will review garden planning, the best layout for available space, and tools. We will then discuss different methods of determining the "best" time to plant. After that, you will have an opportunity to get your hands in the dirt by planting seeds, roots and fruit bearing plants - which you can take home for your own garden! We will wind up with a discussion on fertilizing, watering, pollinators, and controlling those pesky weeds. This is a class with flexibility, where participants can explore their gardening interests. All levels of interest and skill are welcome!!!"
