    Event Description:
    The Skagit Ag Summit takes place on Friday, Feb. 10, at the WSU Northwest Research & Extension Center in Mount Vernon. EDASC is a sponsor of the event.

    The day's programming includes:
    • Panel discussion about the continued viability of Skagit agriculture.
    • Highlights of positive work happening in Skagit County and Washington state.
    • A rundown of economic development programs related to Skagit agriculture.
    • Presentation on ag innovations occurring in Skagit County.
    • Discussion on water, water quality, availability and alternatives
    Closing remarks will be given by U.S. Rep. Rick Larsen. A social hour at North Sound Brewery follows the day's programming.
