EDASC is excited to bring Startup Grind, the world's largest startup community, to Skagit County. Join us for networking and a fireside chat with guest speaker Amelia Cook, owner of Goodwinds Composites, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Burlington Rotary Community Meeting Room at 900 E. Fairhaven Ave., Burlington.
Startup Grind events are designed to give startups the education and opportunities they need to build, grow, and scale their companies.
The organization was founded in 2010 when its founder gathered friends and fellow entrepreneurs to address the growing challenges of launching a company. Their gatherings soon spurred a local startup movement that attracted founders and experts from every industry, all coming together to share their advice and inspirations for early entrepreneurs. Eventually, vibrant Startup Grind communities (“chapters”) began developing in Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, London, New York, Beijing, and many more.
This Startup Grind comes to Skagit County through the Cascadia Startup Grind chapter. It is planned for this event to be the first of many recurring meetings.
