• Stuff the Bus Food Drive

Presenting the Stuff the Bus food drive Friday, October 23 from 11:30a.m – 5:30 p.m. at Fred Meyer Burlington, located at 920 S Burlington Blvd, Burlington, WA 98233. Be a part of contributing non-perishable food items for those in need. Fred Meyer and Skagit Transit have come together in unison to kick off this special food drive.

Donations of nonperishable food shall be stuffed inside a Skagit Transit bus. At this time of economic crisis food security is especially important, food banks are more essential as there are more folks in need. The stuffed bus contents will resupply our local food bank that gives to those in need.

Non-perishable food items accepted for donation include canned meats, vegetables, fruits, stews and chili, canned or dry soups, canned or packaged pasta, tea bags and ground coffee, hot and cold cereals, rice, dried beans, cake and pancake mixes, powdered or canned milk, juice boxes, granulated sugar, baby food and formula, granola and cereal bars and dry or canned pet food and baby diapers.

All food donations will benefit the Burlington Tri-Parish Food Bank a not for profit 503 (c) organization serving poor to middle-class families, seniors and individuals with disabilities.
