    About Us

Skagit Adult Day Program is a supervised daytime program where adults with special cognitive needs, such as Alzheimer’s or other dementias, can participate in a supportive group setting with friends. While their loved ones are attending, caregivers can get some much-needed respite to run errands, do chores or just take a break.

Daily meals and cognitive stimulation are provided to each attendee. Our program is designed to nurture participants’ physical and emotional well-being by providing group contact and interaction with peers facing similar circumstances. All activities are modified for each person’s abilities, including but not limited to music, games, crafts, art, and more.

SADP also provides several community education opportunities.
-Caregiver support group: 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month, 1:30-3pm @ Burlington Senior Center
-Monthly Lunch & Learn: Last Monday of each month, 12-2pm @ Burlington Senior Center
-Powerful Tools for Caregivers class: offered seasonally. Contact for more info.
