Skagit Valley College hosts open house and reception for “Around the Americas” education and researc
Friday Harbor, Wash. – Skagit Valley College (SVC) Foundation and the SVC San Juan Center invite the public to a special open house and reception for the Around the Americaseducation and research sailing expedition. The next scheduled haul-out of the Guemes Island ferry will be March 15 through April 29, 2025. The Board of Skagit County Commissioners signed Resolution R20240249 on November 25, 2024 awarding the haul-out bid to Nichols Brothers Boat Builders for $1,629,837.95. The final car ferry sailing to Guemes Island will depart Anacortes at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 14th with return service to Anacortes approximately eight minutes later. Mount Vernon, WA — Skagit Valley College hosted its 22nd Annual Athletic Auction on Feb. 1 and raised more than $135,000 in support of student-athletes and the athletics program at SVC.
