B’Town Fall Fest Brings Hometown Fun to Maiben Park

    Beginnings

What began in 2003 as Burlington’s Harvest Fest - best remembered for the famous Pumpkin Pitch - has grown into one of the community’s most beloved annual traditions. Now, twenty two years later, the festival has transformed into B’Town Fall Fest, a weekend-long celebration of autumn that brings together families, neighbors, and visitors for two days of free family fun.

    New Location

This year, the festival is moving to a new location at Maiben Park. The change is designed to create a more intimate, hometown feel while still offering all the activities that families have come to love. From live entertainment and games to food, crafts, and community connections, the event promises something for everyone.

    Kick-Off

The festivities kick off Friday evening, September 26 at 7:30PM, with a FREE outdoor screening of Hocus Pocus at the Amphitheatre at the Burlington VIC. Families are encouraged to bring low-back chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy the movie under the stars. Sponsored by the Burlington Healthy Community Coalition, the screening sets the stage for a weekend full of festive fall fun.

    Live Entertainment & FREE Activities

On Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28, Maiben Park will come alive from 10AM to 3PM with an exciting lineup of live bands, circus performances, special character visits and much more. Festival-goers can enjoy performances from Charlie PartinThe National Guard Rock Band, and Marcia Kester. Children will be delighted to meet Snow White and Princess Jasmine, while roaming entertainers like the Wagon of Whimsy keep the fun going throughout the park. Families will find plenty of free activities to enjoy, from face painting, balloon animals, and inflatable slides to the 6 and under KidKorral. The 4-H Petting Zoo will be a highlight for animal lovers, while kids can also try the Zucchini Car Races or paint a pumpkin to take home. New this year, a sensory-friendly area inside Maiben House offers a welcoming and calm space.
