Bellingham, WA – Peoples Bank is proud to announce the opening of its annual Impact Grant program, beginning August 1, 2025. This initiative awards $25,000 to a non-profit organization for a specific project or purpose that drives meaningful change in the community. Returning this year is an additional grant of up to $10,000, awarded to a separate non-profit based on a public vote.
“At Peoples Bank, our commitment to ‘A Higher Level of Service’ goes beyond banking,” said Lisa Hefter, President and Chief Operating Officer. “The Impact Grant program is a reflection of our dedication to supporting the communities we serve. Each year, we are inspired to learn about the ways organizations are working to improve the lives of others.”
Applications will be accepted from August 1 through August 31, with winners announced in September. Non-profits of all sizes are encouraged to apply, and the process is designed to be straightforward and accessible. Preference will be given to organizations located in communities served by Peoples Bank and those that positively impact low to moderate income neighborhoods.
Interested organizations can find the online application, details about the review process, and highlights from previous winners at www.peoplesbank-wa.com/impact-grant.
