• Change of Ownership at Melody's Flowers & More in Burlington, WA

Burlington, WA – 04/01/2024 – Melody's Flowers & More, a cherished floral shop in the
heart of downtown Burlington, Washington, is excited to announce a change of
ownership. After 43 years of dedicated service, Melody Snyder has decided to retire and pass the torch to Amanda Benson, a seasoned florist and businesswoman.

Melody Snyder first opened Melody's Flowers in March of 1981, with the original
location situated just 2 doors west of the current storefront. Over the years, Melody has created a legacy of exceptional floral design and unparalleled customer service. Her favorite memories include meeting wonderful customers who have since become friends and experiencing the unwavering support of the community, even through challenging times like the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a local business owner, Melody joined Soroptimist International in Burlington, where
she further connected with the community and contributed to its betterment.

Reflecting on her tenure, Melody expressed her gratitude, saying, "I've had fantastic
employees throughout these 43 years; I could not have done it without them and the
support of the community."

Melody is confident that Amanda Benson is the perfect successor to uphold the shop's
legacy. "The time has come for me to retire. I am proud to say Amanda Benson will be
taking over, and you will love her! The shop is in excellent hands, and I hope you will
support her as you have supported me."

Amanda, the new owner of Melody's Flowers, is eager to continue the shop's tradition of excellence. With a passion for flowers and a commitment to customer satisfaction,
Amanda is dedicated to providing the Burlington community with beautiful floral
arrangements for all occasions. She’s had the pleasure of learning directly from Melody by working alongside her for the past 3 years, and has already built fantastic
connections with their customers. Amanda also has previous experience running her
own wedding floral business in Whatcom County, Mount Baker Blooms, and is excited to continue to give amazing floral experiences to her customers here in Burlington with Melody’s Flowers.

Under Amanda's ownership, Melody's Flowers will continue to operate at its current
location, offering a wide range of floral services, including wedding and event
arrangements, sympathy tributes, daily deliveries, and custom designs.

The entire team is excited about this new chapter and is grateful for the support of the
Burlington community over the years. Customers are invited to visit the shop and
experience the beauty of Melody's Flowers under its new ownership at 519 E Fairhaven Ave, Burlington WA. A ribbon cutting ceremony/grand re-opening will take place Thursday, May 2nd 2024.
