Congratulations to Steph Rees on Earning Her IOM Designation

BURLINGTON, Wash. The Burlington Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate President and CEO Steph Rees as she earns her IOM designation after completing the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundationās Institute for Organization Management.
Rees completed 96 credit hours of coursework over four years and four weeklong Institute sessions, culminating with her final session at Villanova University in July.
Institute for Organization Management is a professional development program for chamber of commerce, association and nonprofit professionals. The program provides participants with coursework focused on areas including leadership, governance, advocacy, finance, marketing, membership development and strategic planning.

The IOM designation recognizes professionals who have completed Instituteās comprehensive nonprofit leadership curriculum. The four-year program gives chamber and association executives opportunities to strengthen their skills, learn from peers across the country and bring new strategies back to the organizations and communities they serve.
Throughout the four-year program, Rees has applied what she learned to her leadership of the Burlington Chamber, bringing new ideas, resources and strategies back to the organization and the business community it serves.
Her commitment to professional development has also earned national recognition. Rees was selected as a recipient of the Institute for Organization Management Regent Scholarship in recognition of her leadership, professional involvement and community service.
Steph Rees earning her IOM designation represents an important professional milestone and a significant investment in leadership, learning and service to the Burlington business community.
