Burlington Chamber Announces 2026 Board of Directors and Officers
BURLINGTON, WA ā The Burlington Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its 2026 Board of Directors and Officers, setting the stage for a year of innovation, collaboration, and community impact.
āThis new Board blends experience, fresh perspectives, and a deep commitment to our local businesses,ā said Stephanie Rees, President & CEO of the Burlington Chamber. āTogether, weāll continue building strong partnerships and driving growth across the Skagit Valley.ā
New Leadership Team
Taking the helm in 2026 is Lisa Case of Avenue Catering as Chair, with Kaaren Flint of United District #304, BHCC as Vice Chair, Marco Vega of Skagit Landscaping as Treasurer, and Jarrod Ball of Learned Commercial serving as Past Chair. Lisa Case said, āItās an honor to serve as Chair for 2026. The Chamber is a powerful platform for connection and growth, and I look forward to working with our Board, staff, and members to strengthen Burlingtonās economic vitality.ā
The Board of Directors includes Amanda Bensen (Melody Flowers), April Patterson (Rotary of Burlington), Ashley Stowe (Stowes Shoes & Clothing), Blake Van Roekel (Genuine Skagit Valley), Chuck Messinger (Volunteers of America Western Washington), Marjorie Plewinski (COPIA on the Boulevard), Megan Thomas (RET Physical Therapy & Healthcare Specialists), Michelle Borlin (WECU), and Wesley Holboy (Holboy Entertainment). Together, they bring a wide range of expertise to guide the Chamberās initiatives and support businesses of all sizes. āIām looking forward to 2026 being a year where the voices of our members are truly represented on the Board,ā said Mindy Engstrom, 2025 Board Chair.
Honoring Outgoing Members
The Chamber also recognizes the contributions of outgoing Board members Mindy Engstrom (Community Action), Hilary Parker (Economic Development Alliance of Skagit County), and April Moore (Mountain Pacific Bank). āThe dedication and leadership of our outgoing members have shaped the Chamberās impact in countless ways,ā said Rees. āWe are grateful for their service and the foundation they leave for 2026.ā
